Safe Spaces for Asian American Students on Campus

The ARC, or Asian Resource Center, promotes education and awareness of the Asian American community. The space also serves as a safe and supportive environment for Asian American students to spend time, study, or host events for their organizations. The ARC is located on the first floor of the Student Resource Building.

The MCC, or Multicultural Center, serves marginalized student populations on campus. The space (bottom right) is meant to foster inclusivity for students of color at UCSB. The MCC often has educational programming and events to spread awareness of the histories of these marginalized communities as well as provide a safe, shared community space for students to spend time and study.
